Project 365 (8th-14th June)

It has been back to work this week after a lovely fortnight off and a busy one as well.

Sunday 8th June

 

Guess who isn't afraid of the T-Rex?  Had a good day at Yorkshire Wildlife Park. Was disappointed that some of the animals were not in their enclosures but I at least managed to see the polar bears which you do not find in many zoos.

Monday 9th June

Back to reality, back to work. Surprisingly there were very few children absent.

Tuesday 10th June

The Strawberry Supper is an annual event at my W.I. and one I look forward to every year.

Wednesday 11th June

It was Emma's birthday today and she chose an Indian restaurant near where she works to go and celebrate. The food was delicious and they came out after we had finished with this ice-cream and brownies dessert for her which was lovely of them. We will definitely be going back to eat again.

Thursday 12th June

My crop of radishes. I did not know that radishes could be this shape. They also aren't as strong a flavour as the ones in the supermarket.

Friday 13th June.

I found this recipe book which has lots of recipes I want to try especially as I am trying in increase the amount of protein and fibre I eat.

Saturday 14th June

I felt like making a card for a friend whose birthday is in a couple of weeks and she loves books so the tag is detachable to use as a bookmark.
